I’ve been self-employed for two years now, working as a service provider at my brother-in-law's pizzeria. My schedule is pretty light, just a full day on Thursday and evenings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which nets me about 1800 euros after taxes. I also tried my hand at real estate for a year, but with two young kids, it didn’t work out as I had hoped. I need to find another job because living on 1800 euros a month is tough, even though I live in a low-cost rural area. I’m thinking about applying to larger companies like L’Oréal, as they offer career growth opportunities, bonuses, and other benefits. I could still keep my pizzeria job two nights a week, which would give me a more comfortable income. Some might suggest I look for freelance remote work since I have some free time, but I find the online job market overwhelming and don’t want to waste my time on low-quality gigs.
