I had a promising 30-minute phone call with a recruiter from a medical spa about a position I'm interested in. Initially, she seemed optimistic and suggested that they might start hiring for this role in December. However, after a week, she reached out to let me know that there’s no solid hiring timeline at the moment. She mentioned that an admin role might open up first and expressed her desire to keep in touch and update me on any developments. She even said, "I think you’d be a great addition to the team!" While her interest is encouraging, I'm trying to interpret the change in timeline after her discussion with HR. Is December still a possibility, just not confirmed? Or could there be limitations on what she can share from that conversation? Since this is a newer location for them, I'm also wondering if budget constraints or business growth might be affecting their hiring plans. I’m considering whether I should keep applying elsewhere while waiting for any news.
